Recently we added 1000+ red worms from to our media beds. In aquaponics there are many benefits to adding them to your system. They feed on small decomposing organic particles while breaking down dead roots and other solid materials that can accumulate/clog your grow beds! 🪱

Fun Fact: The water circulating through our system is so oxygenated that the worms are able to breathe in the clay media pebbles without coming to the surface! When looking at our media beds you would never even know they are there 😊
