I know what you’re thinking…

“But Kaylee, you said you don’t have chickens on the farm anymore.” And you’d be correct, because Rosie identifies as a human. 😂 If Rosie had a past life then she lived in a gated community and was an only child to wealthy parents who did anything for her. She’s spoiled rotten!

Rosie is so special to us. Not because of characteristics but because of her personality. She LOVES people. She yearns for human interaction. There’s never been a moment in my almost 2 years of owning her that she hasn’t been right beside us if given the chance. Rosie is a “in your pocket” kind of girl, just ask anyone who knows her!

And I know… you’re probably also thinking “But Kaylee, she NEEDS another chicken. They’re flock animals!” But I can promise you, Rosie does not even notice she’s the only chicken around here. She’s living her best life as the ‘only child’, and that’s exactly how she prefers it. ❤️

We picked up 2 snowy call ducklings and 3 runner ducklings yesterday. These beautiful babies were hatched by my friend, Marissa DeYoung Cleveland, and are absolutely precious!

If you’re wanting to hatch your own babies, I have 8 fertile eggs available (will price as 1/2 dozen and include the 2 extras free of charge.)
