We're very happy to announce that after nearly 5 years of careful cultivation we are now offering 2 new garlic varieties in limited amounts. We have thai purple (pictured below) a Turban that is known for very early Harvest and will perform well in both cold and very warm environments. Turban are known for having very high heat tolerance and will grow well in the south as far as Florida and in the cold north. They are whats known as a weakly bolting hardneck and in warmer regions will grow without a scape and in colder areas will produce a scape. They are also one of the best tasting types we grow. We also have an Asiatic variety called Korean mountain that we have in very limited supply for sale. This one is also a weakly bolting hardneck but does not do quite as well in warmer regions without vernalization. It is also unique in that it's cloves have ridges on them. This one is another very tasty variety that grows cloves nearly as large as our music on alot of bulbs. We do not have purchase limits on these new varieties like most seed companies do.
