Be. Nice. To. The. General. Public.
I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but the world outside of our world tends to think that agriculture is some variation of the devil.
Your interaction with the parking attendant, the school children, the passerby-er’s asking to pet your animal, etc. may be the only one they have with someone from our walk of life.
Try smiling instead of snarling. Tell them about your animal. Ask them some questions about their life too. You may even like it and find some common ground. But, even if you don’t, the good news is that it won’t cause any major harm to you!
Spoiler alert 🚨👉🏻 this is also an election year. One that will dictate heavily where our beloved lifestyle and value system will head for the next 4+ years. We could use all the friends and supporters for agriculture that we can get!

What an awesome day for the boys at the Scott county invitational! Gunner started the day off winning the 7-9 year old showmanship! Slade had a great run as well securing reserve showman in the 10-13 age group with some stout competition!
Gunners heifer “GG” reserved the English breed.
Slades heifer “Ginger” won the American breed.
Slades heifer “Queen” won the Euro breed an went on to win supreme over all commercial heifer!

Low quality pics, high quality kiddos, and some calves that we are excited about hauling this fall! The boys kicked off their fall show season today at the Bulldog Classic.

Both boys were in the top of their showmanship age groups!

Reserve Champion AOB Non-Brahman Heifer.

A great day indeed!
