🤍🔥 Some of the best moments in life happen in the kitchen.
Not in a fancy restaurant. Not at some five star event. Right there in your own kitchen — barefoot, music playing, something good on the stove filling the whole house with a smell that makes everybody wander in from the other room asking “what are you cooking?”
That’s the moment. That’s what food is really about.
I want to share one of my favorite simple weeknight recipes with y’all today. Something I make when I want good food without a lot of fuss.
🍗 Chef Nino’s Cajun Butter Chicken Thighs
What you need:
• Bone in skin on chicken thighs
• Chef Nino’s Cajun Adrenaline seasoning
• 2 tablespoons butter
• A little olive oil
• Fresh garlic
How to make it:
1. Season your chicken thighs with Cajun Adrenaline. As much or as little as you’d like.
2. Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat
3. Sear skin side down for about 6-7 minutes until the skin is golden and crispy
4. Flip, add butter and garlic and baste the chicken as it finishes cooking
5. Finish in the oven at 400° for about 15 minutes until cooked through
6. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving
🍚 Serve with:
Yellow rice cooked in chicken broth and roasted Brussels sprouts tossed in Chef Nino’s Make It Italian seasoning at 400° until crispy.
Two blends. One incredible plate. Your family will ask for this every week.
That’s it. Simple, bold, real food. 🤍
The kind of meal that makes people feel taken care of. And isn’t that what cooking is really all about?
