Ya’ll, we realize next weekend is Labor Day and there are a lot of plans being made but we are wondering if you want us to open for a few hours next Saturday?

I have to give a shout-out to our little farmer who hops off the bus to go roll hay! He said he’s rolled nearly 80 rolls in the past three days. He’s truly an amazing tractor driver and if you’ve ever rolled hay, you know how much attention it takes.

This summer, he’d worked enough to buy himself a little Pond Prowler boat, a boat motor on FB Marketplace, and fishing tackle. In his spare time, he loves to fish and ride horses!

He’s a big part of this business behind the scenes. It takes a lot to get these animals raised and eventually in our meat market. If you see him around the store sometime, just let him know how much you appreciate him!

Way to go Mav, we couldn’t do it without you!

Ya’ll, thanks to all who came out today! We had 100 total receipts! In 8 hours, that’s 12.5 customers per hour and that doesn’t count all of the guests/family that came with each customer.

We appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts! Thank you for trusting us to bring you a great product.

We will be open on Friday, August 28th, 10-6 AND Saturday, August 29th, 10-2.

We also will be having all our lamb at 15% off! We have rack of lamb, lamb ribs, lamb shanks, lamb shank roasts, lamb loin chops and leg of lamb! If you love lamb, now is your time to stock up because we don’t discount lamb very often and it isn’t in our bundles!

We ordered a huge assortment of ice cream this week also! If you haven’t tried the ice cream, it’s a favorite!

Just a little going on at the farm today. Harvested these heirloom seeded grapes from my little vineyard. Made this beautiful grape jelly. It’s taken a lot of years for the vines to produce good grapes. I think we’re finally there! For now, I made these small batches for us. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to process more of these things to share with all of you! Of course, jams, jellies and many other things have to be made in an approved facility in order to sell retail.
