Hazel's Wine Shop and Filbert's Scoops are looking for a Manager to help lead our team and create the welcoming experience our customers have come to know and love.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm and organized in a busy environment, and is comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day operations.

🌟Responsibilities:

• Lead and support staff during daily operations
• Help train employees and maintain consistent service standards
• Create and manage employee schedules
• Oversee opening, closing, and shift responsibilities
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Monitor inventory and communicate ordering needs
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally
• Help create a positive, reliable, and welcoming workplace
• Assist customers with wine selections and confidently discuss wine styles, regions, and pairings
• Work alongside the team wherever needed, including serving customers, scooping ice cream, stocking products, and keeping the shops organized

🌟Qualifications:

• Prior restaurant, café, food service, or hospitality experience strongly preferred
• Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of wine required
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Dependable, responsible, and comfortable making decisions
• Able to work independently while also being a supportive team leader
• Available for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
• Must be at least 21 years old

📆 Schedule: Approximately 25–35 hours per week.

We are on the search to hiring a Part-Time Wine Shop Associate 🍇🔍

We’re building a neighborhood wine shop centered around thoughtful, welcoming service, fair pricing, and wines from everywhere: Oregon, Europe, and beyond!

🌟We’re looking for someone who:
�• Loves talking about wine & helping others find the perfect bottle.
�• Has strong knowledge of international wine regions, grape varieties, and styles, while making wine approachable for everyone.
�• Is warm, reliable, curious, and detail-oriented.
�• Has retail, restaurant, tasting room, wine sales, or similar experience (preferred).

❗️Requirements:�• Must be 21+.�• Must have (or be willing to obtain) Oregon alcohol service permits.�• Available for part-time hours, including some evenings and weekends.�• Able to lift and move wine cases.

🙌 Bonus points for:
�• WSET, CMS, or other wine education.
�• Experience with wine retail, restaurant wine service, distribution, or tasting rooms.
�• Knowledge of natural wine, classic European producers, Oregon wine, or food pairings.
�• A genuine love for hospitality and helping people discover something new.
