Wednesday June 10th

The strawberry U-pick field is officially done for the season. The corn crop is coming in slowly but surely, with corn expected towards the end of the month. I’ll update again when I know more! Thank you!

Sunday June 7th,

No U-pick today. We will check the field again in a couple days to assess whether it’s worth opening up the field for Wednesday. Thank you!

Thursday June 4th

All the ripe berries have been picked in the U-pick field. I’m still seeing some green berries in the field and so we may open the field again on Sunday or one day next week. I will post again to confirm. Thank you!

Our 2026 strawberry season is coming to a close. We will no longer be out on the road selling pre picked strawberries. Our U-pick field still has a limited number of berries left. Our next U-pick day will be Wednesday, June 3rd from 9-7. Our hope is to keep the U-pick open as long as we can and will update when there are berries available. We want to thank everyone who supported us this season and I apologize to the folks in Lebanon and Marion and other areas for not having the supply to come set up over there. Strawberrys are a tough crop to grow and manage and this year’s crop didn’t produce nearly as much as it should have. However, we aren’t going to give up, and we plan to continue to learn and grow for next season. Thank you!

Saturday May 30th,

We do not have any strawberries to sell at the Abingdon Farmers Market. We will open the U-pick on Sunday from 4-7. It’s possible we will come out and sell one day next week but it’s not likely. The U-pick field is the only field that is still producing and it does still have some green berries.

Friday May 29th

We will be selling strawberries in Abingdon on Main St at the laundromat near the police station starting around 11am. The U-pick field will be closed again today. We may possibly open the U-pick field on Sunday afternoon. Thank you!

Wednesday, May 27th

We will not be selling strawberries today and the U-pick field will be closed the next couple of days at least. It is possible that we will pick again Thursday or Friday.

Summer Crop Update:
We are gearing up for what we hope will be a big summer/fall harvest!
Our first couple of crops saw quite a bit of weather related stress over the past several weeks and will not produce much. I anticipate the sweet corn will start coming in sometime in middle to late June. We should still have a good bit more corn than last season, lord willing. We have added several other crops this season including tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, and a whole lot of seedless and seeded watermelon! Our potatoes and green beans are looking pretty good too. Stay tuned! Thank you!
