Saturday May 30th,

We do not have any strawberries to sell at the Abingdon Farmers Market. We will open the U-pick on Sunday from 4-7. It’s possible we will come out and sell one day next week but it’s not likely. The U-pick field is the only field that is still producing and it does still have some green berries.

Wednesday, May 27th

We will not be selling strawberries today and the U-pick field will be closed the next couple of days at least. It is possible that we will pick again Thursday or Friday.

Summer Crop Update:
We are gearing up for what we hope will be a big summer/fall harvest!
Our first couple of crops saw quite a bit of weather related stress over the past several weeks and will not produce much. I anticipate the sweet corn will start coming in sometime in middle to late June. We should still have a good bit more corn than last season, lord willing. We have added several other crops this season including tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, and a whole lot of seedless and seeded watermelon! Our potatoes and green beans are looking pretty good too. Stay tuned! Thank you!

We will not be selling strawberries today and the U-Pick field will be closed again, but will reopen tomorrow. We will possibly pick tomorrow if we can find a dry window, but will definitely sell at the Abingdon Farmers Market Saturday morning. The amount of berries in the field is getting less and less but should have enough to keep going for a week or so. Thanks!
