💙 OFFICIALLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE! 💙

We are officially on MATERNITY LEAVE as we patiently (or impatiently 😂) wait for our last little bundle of joy to make their grand arrival! 👶🏾🍼✨

As we soak up this special time and prepare to welcome our newest little love, we wanted to let everyone know that our pop-up shop at The Barns at New Market will be paused until further notice.

But don’t worry …we’re still here for you! 🫶🏾
✨ Pick-up orders will still be available
📦 We will continue to ship orders

So if you need your favorite teas, spices, etc..you can still place an order with us! We may just be working a little differently (and with a tiny boss joining the team 😆).

I grew green shoulder daikon radish for the very first time. I have no idea when I planted them or when they’re fully mature so this will be a test. I do like pickled radish from the Asian restaurants so now I have to google how to pickle them.

Today was certainly a first! I had to switch from my harvesting basket to the wheel barrow! I still have green bell peppers, jalapeños and herbs to harvest.

On this episode of God do what He want and we do what we can….

This watermelon plant was BURNT AND BEAT DOWN during the heat wave…which is why you don’t transplant in extreme weather but I didn’t care frfr.

Anyway, I saw that it had two surviving leaves so I didn’t pull it. After a few weeks it started showing signs of life but I ignored it and focused on my veggies. To my surprise WE’VE GOT ACTION! Better late than neverrrr!

Today’s super quick lunch harvest.

Our very first Jack o lantern 🎃of the season had to be harvested early thanks to squash vine borers! Admittedly, I didn’t stay on top of pest control this year but they have decimated our zucchini, yellow squash and pumpkin. 🥴

Anyway…I can’t remember how many pounds we’ve harvested thus far but we’ve definitely cleared 60lbs of produce.

Grab some fresh produce this Saturday at Barns at New Market!!! We’ll have Jalapeños, bell peppers, okra, tomatoes and assorted herbs!!
