Hot Mess Hollow From chaos we cultivate - William, Becky, and an animal behind every door. We run a farm to raise chickens, Kune Kune pigs, and Nigerian Dwarf goats.

We provide reiki, art, gardening, and science classes. We sell body products, honey, and mushrooms.

We love food, each other, and our farm!
Farming is hard work and we try to have multiple date nights each month. Yesterday we went to The Giambanco's Italian Grill. It was my turn to choose and after I saw their post about their seafood lasagna my choice was easy!

So, I, William had the La Mer Lasagna. And Becky, who is vegetarian, had the Penne Toscana.

Both were delicious! Nice sized chunks of seafood with great texture for me. Becky’s garlic sauce was amazing. All the flavors were great together.

Service was great (even when I called in to make sure the dish was available and to make a reservation once the rain cancelled our work plans!).
Daniel, who was the server for our table, was great. The place was suuuuper clean.

We will have to come again, but next time on a Wednesday night for their live music!

Our own pumpkins say “better late than never!”

We are looking for locally sourced giant pumpkin or watermelon seeds for next year. I’d love to see if we can dedicate a large portion of space and time to growing something well over 100lbs.

At the state fair I remember seeing a giant produce farmer lives in Mechanicsville or even as close as Louisa. Anyone know those people?

Soooo, some folks have asked about parentage of our new piglets.

Cheetah is the mom. She is Charlotte’s DAUGHTER.
Cinna is the dad. He is a boy we got when he was 8 weeks old and raised on our porch to ensure different blood lines and gentleness!!
