Tuesday October 6th at The Donkey and we celebrate our friend Trisyn Kalawaia making his first trip to The NFR in Steer Wrestling. Trisyn is the first Native Born Hawaiian to qualify for the NFR and he'll proudly carry the Hawaii State Flag all 10 nights in Vegas. To honor Trisyn we'll have an absolute flavor packed Taco Tuesday. Hula Hula Chicken Tacos or Kalua Pork Tacos. Served with a side of Hawaiian Fried Rice. We will make our rice with ham and skip the traditional Spam. This Rice is crazy good and we always asked Trisyn to bring it as a side for holidays.

Monday October 5th at The Donkey. Our Special is The Rachael. This is Reuben’s Sister. Sour Dough Bread, Turkey, Swiss, Cole Slaw and 1000 Island Dressing. Personally I was a little skeptical about this one until I tried it. It’s shockingly good. Never expected this combination to go so well together.

Our Appetizer Specials have a little bang to them.

Sweet Chili Shrimp or Buffalo Shrimp. Six of our Fried Breaded Shrimp tossed in a Sweet Chili Gochujang Sauce or our house Buffalo Sauce. $12.00

Main Course

The Shrimp Wrap. Grilled Blackened or Garlic Herb Shrimp Wrap. A flour tortilla stuffed with Shrimp, Pepper Jack Cheese, Lettuce, and Tomato, with a drizzle of Cajun Aioli. Served with a side for $16.00

The Shrimp Po-Boy: Shrimp piled high on a fresh hoagie bun with remoulade sauce, lettuce, and tomato. Served with one side $16.00

Fried or Grilled Shrimp entrée: 8 Hand Breaded Jumbo Fried or Grilled Shrimp. Served with two sides for. $19.

Fried Catfish. Three hand breaded catfish filets served with two sides for $18.00.

Fish and Shrimp Combo. 6 Grilled or Fried Shrimp with Two Fried Catfish Filets. Served with two sides for $21.00.

Thursday October 1st at The Donkey. Our new menu brings us to the part of the week when good ole comfort food joins the lineup. Thursday thru Saturday we have Chicken Fried Steak, Chicken Fried Chicken and Hamburger Steak on the menu. All three are discounted on Thursdays.

This Date in History, September 30th 1927. Babe Ruth hits his 60th home run of the season off Tom Zachary in Yankee Stadium, New York City. Rumor has it that Ruth, a rather portly fellow, celebrated with a big helping of Chicken and Noodles over Mashed Potatoes and a few adult beverages. So today we break out everyone's favorite, Homemade Chicken Noodles served with Mashed Potatoes, a side of corn and a Roll and Butter.
