Pasture raised, rotationally grazed, non-gmo, corn and soy free. All labels that apply to our eggs but what do they mean to you as the consumer and why are they important?

1. Pasture Raised = means are chickens are out on pasture running around scratching, dust bathing, eating bugs, etc! Like the Lord intended! Means more nutrient dense eggs for you!

2. Rotationally grazed = means our chickens get moved to a fresh piece of pasture on a regular basis! They are kept in the same run all the time. It’s more labor intensive but better for the chickens (again nutrients) and better for our pasture health!

3. Non-GMO = this is a big debate in the farming world but for us we just air on the side of caution and choose not to feed our chickens feed with GMO products.

4. Corn/Soy Free = this is a personal preference and it allows us up to feed more people with various sensitivities, especially with soy!

Sharing for folks looking for canning classes!

UT/TSU Extension will present our next Canning College July 8-9, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm! This class will be held at Agricenter International – 7777 Walnut Grove Rd, Building C, Memphis, TN 38120.

This two-day workshop will cover the basics of water-bath and pressure canning. Registration is $50.00/per person. Please see flyer for details.
