Celebrate autumn with a fresh pumpkin bouquet! Luckily the frost held off and I was able to harvest more dahlias so I figured why not try pumpkin bouquets!? Each pumpkin is carved out and contains a cup of water so that you can refill when it’s time for fresh flowers. I saw a hack for soaking carved pumpkins in a white vinegar solution to extend their life so you could try that too!

Finger’s crossed we’ll have more dahlias for October bouquets! 💐 More sunflowers are also getting to the perfect stage for harvesting 🌻

Did you know that sunflowers harvested just as the petals are lifting off the center will open soon and have amazing vase life? 🌻

Our cosmos are also harvested just at bud break stage to extend vase life 💐

Other tips for helping your blooms last as long as possible…

🌸Change the water every other day and trim the stems, cutting on an angle
🌸Clean your vase
🌸Keep out of direct sunlight
🌸Keep away from ripening fruit…some flowers are ethylene sensitive
🌸Add a little bit of flower food to your water
🌸Remember though that a clean vase, clean water and trimming stems every couple days is most important! ☑️🌸💛

Good morning and Happy Saturday! I have a small restock of beautiful large and small wrapped market bouquets on the stand now. The stand will be open all day or until sold out. Hope you’ll visit!
