I am so incredibly excited to share that Dough Loco Cottage Bakery will be a vendor at the White Barn & Co. 6th Annual Fall Decor and Vintage Market! I'm already prepping my lists to make sure I have plenty of the classics you all love. From pans of warm sweet rolls to homemade poptarts, I’ll have your absolute favorites ready for a beautiful weekend.

They say food is love made edible, and that couldn't have been more true this past weekend. ❤️

Getting to bake for my sister-in-law Mqylei's baby shower was such an honor. Hours spent in the kitchen, flour on the counters, and piping every detail felt so special knowing who it was all for. We are already so in love with this baby, and being able to sweeten up such a beautiful day for our family meant the world to me. We’re so ready for you, little one! 🧁

Hey Dough Loco friends!!

It has been a WARM ONE! And with not having air conditioning, my kitchen has been a little intentionally slow 😅

With that said, there are a few things that have been popping out of the oven over the last couple days that I can't wait to share with you! 🩷

One of my favorite things about baking is creating my own fruit fillings from scratch!

Whether it's blueberry, strawberry, or black cap, I make my own jams so every pastry starts with homemade flavor. It's one of the little details that makes baking fun for me. ❤️

🌿If you grew up around here, you know exactly what these are. 🖤

I just picked this bowl of wild black caps right from my own backyard and this picture doesn't even show the full patch. The bushes are absolutely loaded this year!

Growing up, picking these usually meant stained fingers, tiny scratches from trying to avoid thorns (and failing), and eating more than actually made it into the bucket. 😅

Now that they are in my kitchen, the real fun begins.

I’m brainstorming some fun ways to bring these flavors into the bakery lineup, but I want to hear from you first!
