Can't say these boots aren't waterproof. It's been non-stop storms here every day. The power went out last night right after I got off of work but a few hours later it came back on just in time for me to go to bed 🤣. On the positive side, at least it's Friday!

Good morning 👑 from Princess Anastasia, here to ask one very important question... what exactly is everyone so excited about? And yes, this IS my Friday face.

Humans act like Friday is some magical holiday, but for me it’s simply the final peaceful hours before the Weekend Handling begins. The moment Saturday arrives, my human suddenly remembers she “needs cuddles.” Ma’am. I am a decorative bird with boundaries, not an emotional support stress ball.

Every chance she gets, I’m scooped up against my will for “love.” I tolerate this bizarre mammalian ritual for approximately 30 seconds before my survival instincts activate and my razor sharp toenails start looking for exposed skin like heat-seeking missiles.

Anyway, I hope your Friday is relaxing, your coffee is strong, and nobody picks you up like the last donut at a low carb picnic ✨

We live far from civilization. There are less than 200 people living in the area. We do get some tourists twice a year during the prime hunting and fishing seasons since we live on a well stocked lake. Our closest neighbor is a campground that is empty when it isn't camping season. It's quiet and private and we have high speed Internet. Can't ask for more...but I do wish for less potholes.

There is a strange algae bloom on our lake right now. This is down the shore from us and hasn't quite made it to our front door. Hopefully it balances itself out soon but for now we are putting fresh water out in bowls on the porch for any thirsty animals.

Prime, my solo chick that hatched from the Amazon Hatching EGGSperiment, is doing amazing. She's calming down quite a bit and sitting with me for cuddles. I still don't regret the $40 I spent to get those mostly rotten eggs. Prime was worth it ❤️.

FB wants 4-5 reels a day this week so hold on to your hats it's about to get... probably boring? I don't know. I try to be creative but you can't get blood from a turnip, at least not one this anemic. That is to say I'm extremely busy at work but I'm going to still post what I can because I want that bonus. I can't promise award winning material so bare with me my friends.

Also, with that said I will be on tonight to talk to everyone. I literally fell asleep on the couch as soon as I sat down the past two nights so I'm sorry I haven't visited. It's not you, it's me. I am working hard here and trying to make enough money to feed 90 something animals 🤣.
