The Chicken, Ribs, and Anything Sausage competition is sanctioned by the New England Barbecue Society (NEBS), and awards will be presented in each category.

🔥 BBQ TEAMS, REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 🔥

The 2nd Annual American BBQ Battle is coming to Suncook River Camp on Sunday, September 26, 2026, and this year the competition is bigger than ever! This year, we expect to sell out of space so register early.

We are proud to partner with the New England Barbecue Society (NEBS) to make this an officially sanctioned barbecue contest.

🏆 The overall winner will earn an invitation to compete at the Grand American Barbecue Invitational in New York, where prize purses can reach up to $50,000!

Teams will compete in three categories and can add the Peoples Choice category too!

🍗 Chicken
🍖 Ribs
🌭 Anything Sausage
🐷 People’s Choice Pulled Pork

The public will sample the pulled pork entries and vote for their favorites, giving teams another opportunity to win cash and bragging rights!

💰 Cash prizes will be awarded for:

🥇 First Place
🥈 Second Place
🥉 Third Place

Prize money will be awarded in every category, plus an additional cash prize for the Grand Champion, the best overall team of the contest.

⛺ Want to make a weekend of it? Overnight camping is available at Suncook River Camp for an additional fee.
