Today’s been one of those days. 😅🐔

One of the Silkies decided the coop rules didn’t apply to him and made a run for it. Then an ant decided my eyelid looked like a good target. 🐜👀

Some days on the ranch don’t go as planned, but you just keep going anyway. 🤠💪

Signing off for today… hopefully tomorrow is a little less eventful. 😅

🐴✨ Another new addition to Akachi Ranch! Meet Shadow! 🖤

Today was his very first introduction to the herd we started safely at the gate so everyone could check each other out and get used to a new face. 👀 It didn’t take long before the horses started sorting out the pecking order and showing who thinks they're in charge around here! 😅

Introducing a new horse is always interesting because every herd has its own personalities, friendships, and leaders. Now the real question is... what happens when Shadow finally gets turned out with the big dogs in the pasture? 🤠🐎

🐣🦃 New additions to the ranch! ✨

We brought home some new chicks and turkey poults and got them settled into their new coop in the garden! 🏡💚 They may be tiny now, but we can’t wait to watch them grow, explore, and become part of the farm family. 🐥🌿

POV: you’re trying to move a pig house before a storm hits and everything starts going wrong 😭⛈️🐷

From the turkeys escaping their homes, thunder rolling in, rain pouring on us, mom’s chest starting to hurt, and my parents getting tired of me recording the chaos 😂… it was definitely one for the books. But in the end, we got all the animals put up safely and made it through the storm safe too 🤍🌧️

PT. 1 🌪️🐷
My parents decided this day was the perfect time to move the pigs over to the old garden area so they could have fresh grass to graze… but there was just one problem 😭 An hour before a storm hit and during a tornado watch ⛈️🌬️ Things got a little chaotic FAST.
