Potato towers work as long as it keeps moist at all sides in this dry land. Potatoes in soil works so much better here.

I grew a lot of garlic last year and they turned out very well.Also last fall I planted a lot of garlic, now covered under a thick layer of organic matter and a thick layer of snow.We will see how they will turn out next summer.
