Chattanooga Communities and friends/volunteers of CHI. Chi is going on Sabatical next week and your last order day this year will be Monday October 5th next week and your food will arrive that week on your pick up or delivery day that Thursday, Fri, or Saturday ending on the 10th for this season. The new team plans on reopening for orders on or about the 1st of January 2027….. it is important that you have all remaining orders cancelled after that date. We thank you for your patronage in growing this local food network and see the updated version of CHI as we move into 2027. Let’s see local food consciousness grow. Once again thank you beyond words. ✨️🌱 Market Nights 🌱✨️

After the market this weekend, the farm settled into that quiet calm only late nights bring.

Once the grow lights shut off, I stepped outside — flashlight in hand — and found a little frog sitting on the granite planting stand, calm and curious in the darkness. Back inside, the beam caught my princess philodendron’s white leaf beginning its unfurl.

The first photo is the leaf emerging in total darkness, lit only by the flashlight — same night as the frog. The second photo is the next stage, continuing its slow reveal.

My Begonia Maculata is throwing perfect spotted drama, the grown-out signature radish mix thriving, and this weekend’s market table reminded me how much Matthew’s Microgreens Co. keeps unfolding — just like that philodendron.

Growth is steady. Intentional. Layered. And none of it happens without you. To every customer, every supporter, every person who stops by the table or shares a kind word — thank you. Your support is the heartbeat of MMCo.

You’ll spot Ricky the Radish on our signage keeping things fun while we highlight the growers who make this work possible. Every market day, we meet new neighbors, swap recipes, and hear how you’re using microgreens at home.

🌿 MMCo Late‑Summer Update

Sunflower microgreens, our signature radish mix, and broccoli continue thriving in the indoor microgreens system — steady, clean, and consistent. Out in the greenhouse, the new installation is already shaping this season’s rhythm. Poblano peppers are coming in beautifully, and the daylilies keep gracing the walk during those quiet evening harvests.

Two different spaces, one shared momentum.
