Shifflett Sport Horse is excited to announce immediate openings for select boarders at our Middleburg and Unison locations. Located in the very center of hunt and show country, we offer both an outdoor riding arena as well as a private indoor for use by clients. Lots of hack-out available as well. Multiple boarding options available, from retirement and field board, to stall board and full training. We also offer equine brokerage services for those looking to buy/sell. Shifflett sport horse is beginning the search for a horse show manager. Duties will include but may not be limited to:
Organizing and packing and unpacking before and after shows
Doing inventory of supplies and ordering as needed
Performing Horse care such as:
feeding
wrapping
cleaning/bathing
stalls
hand grazing
Candidate must have experience lunging horses correctly and the ability to hack horses is a bonus.
Horse Shows may be one day to two weeks. This is a private sale/show program. We would entertain the opinion of you showing as well.

Shifflett Sport Horse is beginning the search to fulfill the position of barn manager. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
Feeding
Turn in/out
Grooming
Lunging
Occasional stall cleaning
Basic medical care
Maintaining organization of the facilities
Managing staff
Scheduling deliveries/appointments
Keeping an inventory of barn supplies
Prepping horses for shipment
