Good weekend for the Fuentes boys! First off my boys worked hard at their swim meet this weekend. They swam some difficult races that their coaches have been training them for and it showed! David came away with 3rd place in the 13 year olds and Jonathan raced hard in every race.

I was able to split my time and do a bbq competition down the road at the American Legion! Came away with a 6th place chicken on my Short Rib Drum Smokers. and a 5th place Tall City Meat Market brisket.

I can't thank my buddies Ryan and Allen for watching over my stuff while I was running back and forth. You guys are the real MVP!

Had a blast this weekend cooking at High Plains Wine, Brews & BBQ KCBS event. For a first time cookoff, everything ran smooth! 18 high powered teams showed up and the judges granted me a 7th chicken, 6th rib, 13 pork, and 9th brisket. Not a bad weekend!
