A little behind the scenes of what happens when the numbers don’t quite go the way you expected. 🌵😂

Last porch stand, we were completely SOLD OUT by 2pm. So when I planned Sunday’s bake, I used those numbers to decide how much to make.

And then y’all switched it up on me. 😂

Was Sunday slower than I expected? Absolutely.

Was it a bad day? Not even close. 💚

We still sold out of several things, met so many new faces, and had an incredible day of sales.

That’s one of the hardest parts of running a small home bakery—you can track every number and plan as carefully as possible, but at the end of the day, fresh food requires a little bit of guessing.

The leftovers aren’t a failure. They’re data.

And now I know a little more going into the next one. 🌵

The racks are FULL and we are ready for y’all! Fresh sourdough, bagels, cinnamon rolls, cookies, Maple Pecan Focaccia, pumpkin breads, farm fresh eggs, pantry goodies & more are waiting for you this morning. 🤠

🎃 And a HUGE shoutout to Midland Porch Decor for making the porch look so dang cute for fall! The pumpkins were the perfect finishing touch. 🧡

MAPLE. PECAN. FOCACCIA. 🤤🍁

Fluffy sourdough focaccia baked in a buttery brown sugar + maple topping with toasted pecans… and yes, all that gooey caramel goodness settles right into the bottom. 🤎

These are honestly unreasonable. 😂

17 pans headed to the Porch Stand tomorrow morning — come early if this one is on your list! 🌵

Nothing like waking up from a night-shift “nap” and immediately realizing you have approximately 47 things to accomplish before work. 😂🌵

So off we went— Costco for the bulk haul, H-E-B for the rest, and now the truck is FULL of everything I need for Sunday’s porch stand.

Next up: get it all back to the ranch, unloaded and put away before I trade baker clothes for scrubs and head to work tonight. 🤠

Then the real fun begins—turning all of this into a porch FULL of sourdough, cookies, cinnamon rolls, focaccia and more.

Sunday’s porch stand prep is officially underway! 🌵🍞

There’s just something about watching sourdough cinnamon rolls come together 🤎🌵

Rolled by hand, loaded with cinnamon sugar, and cut one by one. A little messy, a little time consuming, and so worth it when they come out of the oven covered in cream cheese glaze. 🤤

Made from scratch right here in West Texas. 🤠
