Get you a man who fixes fence in the dark when your mare smashes through the gate and takes out 3 fence posts 💪🏻 But in all seriousness, I am so incredibly blessed with this man. My cousin came to our farm yesterday and she said “this is every prayer I could have ever prayed for you” and she couldn’t be more right. This life, our little family, our farm, they are all every prayer I have ever prayed. My cup is overflowing 💜

If you see Roman around the farm, thank him! Our program truly wouldn’t be what it is without the tireless work of this incredible man!

Happy anniversary to my steady Eddie! 6 years ago today we brought Memphis home as Roman’s birthday gift and he’s been the best addition we could have ever asked for! He’s a grouch and the least photogenic donkey I’ve ever met but he’s also one of the coolest horses I’ve ever swung a leg over and always my go to dependable boy that I can always count on. Thank you forever to Autumn Meierle for trusting us with your boy 💜 we love him to the ends of the earth!

These girls did great in their latest show series! Everly really took on a lot of classes showing 3 horses while Josie took it a little slower only showing Dude but they both absolutely shined! Everly walked away with 1st place in foal halter (Barbie), leadline English equitation (Midnight), leadline English pleasure (Midnight), youth English pleasure (Midnight) and leadline in hand trail (Dude) as well as 2nd place in leadline halter with Barbie and 2nd & 3rd with Midnight in leadline halter and pony halter. Josie won mini halter with Dude! I’m so proud of these girls and how hard they work with their horses 💜

No lessons this week, July 20-24. We will be at the Ripley County 4H fair with a few of our students showing. If you’re looking for something to do, come on out and show them some support! The show starts tomorrow at 10 am and then 6:00pm Monday-Thursday with the awards banquet on Friday!

2 months already and oh my goodness has she grown!! We have officially graduated from the goat halter to an actual foal halter and she’s close to moving up to the next size already! Dolly is still the best mama, giving baby girl everything she needs to succeed. She’s the sweetest little soul and we love every second we get to spend with her 💛 Barbie girl is leading like an old pro, crossing logs, bridges and water without so much as a blink! She pretty much puts her fly mask on herself and is just so smart and willing! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this special little girl!

Watching Everly love Midnight like I do brings so much joy to my heart. Having my childhood pony of 22 years still with us to teach my babies how to ride means more to me than I can ever put into words. So thankful he’s looking and feeling as good as he is.
