Brew City Roasting Company has fresh flowers available today! This week we are featuring some new gorgeous varieties:
🌼Corn Cockle - this whimsical beauty was planted out in the field in FEBRUARY! To say it is a tough flower (but yes, we babies it) is an understatement. Soft and airy like Cosmos, but surprising like a Poppy, this one is fun to watch open up in the vase and really gives that refined wildflower look.
🌸Foxglove - what’s not to love about these soft woodland flowers, which add a mature feel to the arrangement. This is a flower cultivated with love and attention, not a mere scattering of seeds. Some of these special varieties are in their second season and flowering for the first time - but worth the wait! The best foxgloves are the first flowers harvested - late spring and transitioning into early summer. Enjoy the sweet freckles and soft colors of this first wave of foxglove.
💐 Canterbury Bells - you might have been one of the lucky few who snatched one of these up last week, but this is the first week where we could add a stem to each bouquet. Hands-down, this is our most popular spring flower - the one that grabs your attention and I can’t even tell you why. Even the “plain white” is breathtaking and adds a bold and clean statement to each bouquet.
For a flower that requires a lot of intentional planning to get just right, it’s also one that reminds me of my Mother’s flower garden.
If you’re still reading, you’re a true flower lover and we should talk more 😉
