Six months ago we started Humble Cheeseburger and what in incredible journey it has been. Today, 12/19, will be our last day open for 2025 as we take a break till we start the new year!
Serving smash burgers to the Marin community has been nothing short of incredible. Every smile, every conversation at the window, every “this was so good” has truly humbled us. We are beyond grateful,more than words can ever express for the love and support everyone has shown us.
Our mission has always been simple: to serve real smash burgers the way they’re meant to be made with pure, simple, high quality ingredients, letting the beef and the technique speak for themselves. And while it may look like “just a burger,” there’s so much more behind it… but we’ll save that for later.
Smash burgers aren’t ordinary burgers. They’re a blend of art, science, technique, and a whole lot of love in every single smash. We’ve never claimed to have the best burger and we never will, but we do believe we’re doing something different, and we do it with intention and heart.
Over the past six months, despite a schedule that was sometimes rocky as we learned and grew, we’ve proudly served over 15,000 smash burgers (that’s more than 25,000 beef patties smashed 🤯). Every single one has been made with care and gratitude.
As we close out the year, we’re taking a short break to spend time with our family, reset, and recharge. We’ll be back in January, refreshed, inspired, and ready to get back on the grind.
