About Us:

Polar Light Great Pyrenees is a small farm located near Walla Walla, WA. Our family has been blessed by this magnificent breed since 1970. When I had my own family, it did not take long until we purchased a farm, did Pyrenees rescues, and later started showing and breeding our dogs. Our dogs come from parents with Champion, Grand Champion, Obedience titles, and even a Best of Breed wi

nner of Westminster Dog Show. Our Pyrs have excellent temperaments, are healthy, balanced, agile, and conformationally correct that enables them to excel in show as well as in function as guardians of whatever is put under their charge. They have beautiful polar bear heads, tight lips, dry mouths, are elegant to look at, and have a gentle, kind, intelligent, and majestic bearing. When they look into your eyes, they see into your very soul. They truly are an extraordinarily noble breed. We do genetic and health testing as recommended by GPCA. Our Pyrs have been raised with meticulous care, love, sheep, and other farm animals. Each pup sold will be current on age appropriate worming and vaccinations, AKC registration, a spay/neuter agreement, and a lifetime of support. When you take home one of our pups, it is the result of a carefully planned breeding. You will be purchasing an exceptional puppy. WE ARE ACCEPTING NAMES FOR OUR NEXT LITTER OF PUPS. Sometimes wake up feeling a bit down, I open the blinds to watch the start of daylight and my perspective suddenly changes. It really is the simple blessings that make the difference. Love these geese that have been apart of our family for so many years. They are small but have a huge presence and have emotional intelligence that touches the heart deeply! Feeling GRATITUDE!

As I am sitting on sofa, not yet dawn, with a Pyr on my lap, 2 others beside me, and one at my feet, a litter of pups in other room, I am overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude first of all to God, as know without him, this joy I feel would not be possible. Secondly, to all who generously blessed and entrusted me with their life’s work and passion. Happy Birthday Madeleine! This last weekend was Madeleine 1 year birthday. We celebrated it at a dog show with her dad, Atticus, best friend Bellini, and human friends. She earned her first points winning BOW 2 of the 3 days we showed with Kayla handling her beautifully. (Wanted to express a special thanks to Kayla, as injured myself, Kayla saw from a distance came running to my rescue and saved the day and weekend by handling Madeleine for me. ) Great friend and handler. She has such a generous heart, she would have done it for a stranger. Thank you Kayla!!💖💖💖

My beloved Stephen, CH Tip’N Chip Living On The Edge, turned 2 years old on Monday, August 8. I can not look at him without feeling overwhelmed with feelings of love. Needless to say, he is showered with affection and always reciprocates leaving me feeling like the champion of his heart. What more could a girl want❣️❣️❣️
