Happy Saturday! Yesterday was chaotic so I’ve only got bread out there and some fun sewing projects from earlier this week. I’m waiting for the blueberry 🫐 white chocolate to finish cooling and then those will be out there too. Baked Gems brought all the fall flavors today. Including caramel apple oatmeal crème pies 🍎 , pecan pie cookies, 🍪 and iced pumpkin bread 🎃

Check out this weird rampicante squash. This plant has given me weird flowers all season. I knew something was up with it but decided to wait it out and see since its leaves were so massive and beautiful. I had never seen leaves so big on a rampicante plant before. Then it started giving me fruit like this. Notice there is no seed pod at the end and there is also no reason for the fruit itself to be twisted in this odd shape. It wasn’t wrapped around anything and there were multiple out there like this. I’m thinking it’s a case of parthenocarpy. But maybe I’m wrong. If you have any other ideas comment below.

I had some leftover cinnamon roll dough so I threw these together for tomorrow. Mozzarella stuffed garlic rolls. They turned out better than I expected.

Good morning and happy Saturday! We have some jalapeno fig rolls out today. These are all singles. And they are limited. We also have some single cinnamon rolls and some 4 packs. There is a variety of fresh sourdough as well. Baked Gems has brought some goodies including some oatmeal crème pies 😋 We are open until 7. Come on by. ❤️🍞

The idea behind this is a market that will be open 5 days a week, year round. No more battling the elements or setting up and breaking down each day. This will be a permanent spot. Essentially your own little storefront.

Good morning and happy Friday! We have 4 single cinnamon rolls out there today along with fresh sourdough. I won’t be able to reserve any today so make sure you get here early if you’re wanting one. They tend to sell out quickly. We are open until 7 unless the weather says otherwise. These afternoon storms have been crazy

Crisis is averted! We have a new oven installed and ready to go tomorrow! Big shout out to my husband who did it all for me! On the plus side I did find out that you can bake a loaf of sourdough in your air fryer 😂 Not sure how my loaf got misshaped while in there 🤷🏼‍♀️ It was a perfectly shaped loaf going in. But other than that, the bread came out great. The crust is crunchy and the inside is nice and soft. If you’re ever in a pinch or don’t want to heat up your house, I recommend it. Note* I did put a little tray with ice cubes in there with it as well.

My oven decided to crap out on me this morning. It’s never gave any warning signs that anything was wrong. I have some beautiful dough waiting to be baked too 😭 Unfortunately that means I won’t have any bread out there today. Since repairing it would take days if not weeks we are on the search for a gas range that I can pick up today. I’ve contacted a few places locally so we shall see. Fingers crossed I can find something today so I’m not out of commission long.

Thank you guys for an amazing weekend. We were sold out both days. 🎉🥳 If you didn’t get here in time for the jalapeno fig rolls or the cinnamon rolls, I’ll be making more next weekend!
