It's been a while! Today we finished up our breedings for early Spring kids & hopefully they all "took" so we can have a break from that particular chore till November.

disbudded the 2nd of our twin doelings with not so much help from the hubby. It seems he just might be a tad too much of the ol' softie to be a very good assistant. However as soon as I got started he did prove to be as fast as the Flash in going to fetch cold packs! He was like lightening!

so we're thinking of also raising standard Lamancha's. I have now found several doelings to add to the farm & now just need to convince my hubs we can do it. Wish me luck!

here's Bella's 12hr udder! I am thrilled to pieces! She milked like a trooper and didn't even eat her grain, just let me milk her & seemed to love it! I let her keep a ton for the babies and still got 1.12lbs. Too cool!
