Farm Life is tough but that doesn’t mean it’s not enjoyable. Spring is the time for Blooms and Broods!!!!!
What one of your most enjoyable times on your land big or small as long as you enjoy it?

A few years ago my wife and I decided to stop chasing our tails and take our life and future into our own hands. We moved to the country and grow vegetables, chickens, turkeys and goats. We also have three vacation rental properties and a construction company.

Sounds like a lot but actually so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Yes we don’t have upscale restaurants to choose from and have limited retail outlets. We are limited in culture and arts opportunities and one can go on and on.

BUT what we do have is each other.

BBQ’s, Bon fires, fresh eggs and our own produce. Peace and quiet, relaxed days and chicks, poults, kids and we can fish any time we want.

BUT most of all is I have my partner, my lover, my friend, my confidant and my wife.

My wife has this recipe for Cilantro Salsa which I absolutely love. Came in last night and had a beer and salsa. One bottle down many more to go. Great to eat your own produce so glad I got to live this life even if it is later in my life and on a small scale. Most of the human race is missing out on the benefits of farm life living in our huge cities.

Working and laughing at the farm.
When your wife takes a laundry basket used to collect pine cones for winter fires and uses it as a head protective item against our bees. Bees can get through those huge hole you know……..
Crazy, loving lady makes me laugh!!!❤️
