For those of you who braved the roads in the Twin Cities to get to the brunch today, THANK YOU.

Chef Tricio left his house at 3:30 to heave to CityFoodStudio where he prepared the food and then took a nap while he waited for Jessalyn Akerman-Frank to come pick him up to transfer the food to Dendros Group

Unlike St. Patrick's Day feast, this time we kept the food in an oven at the lowest temperature to act as a hot box, so we could transfer the food to Dendros nice and warm and just quickly set up the steam tables.

Thanks you to Minnesota Deaf Qu**rs for partnering with us for this brunch and . And thank you to the ASL students at St. Kates University for helping to clean up afterwards. You kids were a life saver.

Hi my name is Patrick. My business: I Love You by Tricio The ILY translates to ASL is “I love you.” I wanted to start up a cafe, but I’m starting from nothing. Zero capital. So it’s a slow process to grow. My mom taught me how to cook but she took really control of the kitchen. So I didn’t really cook much when my mom manned the kitchen But I got a job at Target Center as a prep cook. As well as Panera’s catering So I felt like I was being paid to learn how to cook. But I still have barriers like you might have noticed tonight my support person here. For when I need visual support with more advanced cooking techniques. One of my main barriers is the communication barrier with the hearing community. And at work we have 70% Spanish workers so they can’t just text me. so they can’t just text me. I feel like I would be more successful if the hearing community would know about me more.

Is anyone in the Twin Cities area interested in our famous Zesty Lemon Cheesecake with graham or oreo crust, red velvet cake, or sugar cookies that you can apply the cream cheese frosting onto yourself (a good kid activity)? Last night we sold 4 dozen of these vegan, divine pillowy goodness dinner rolls. a Customer said: They’re more like popovers. So scrumptious!" We sell them for $10 per dozen.

Made with oat milk and Melt Organic vegan butter, these dinner rolls were re-engineered two years ago from the original King Arthur recipe in order to accommodate my vegan clients. Chef Tricio made the first largest batch when he managed the DeafBlind Community of Texas Junior Camp Weekend that April and one volunteer gulped down four before realizing what she was doing so came chasing after the chef to "complain".
