We decided to do a wine & cheese party yesterday with our GenZ daughter. Got all the goods from Trader Joes (love Trader Joes). Triple Cream Brie w/ wild mushrooms, Roquefort Societe, Cave aged Blue Cheese, a Parmesan, and English Coastal Ched with a Barolo, Pouilly Fume (Sauv Blanc), and a Cal Cab.
I like the Cab with brie, I think that was the best one. Blue cheese or Roquefort just does not go with white. Barolo went good with the Parmesan (of course) and nothing else. The Pouilly was good with Blue cheese and brie.
Anyone else into this? If so we'll keep testing. Love, Paul & Robin the wine freaks.
