Stop your scroll…we have a new snack mix and it is very tasty!

You know that smell when cinnamon rolls are baking and suddenly everyone in the house mysteriously finds their way into the kitchen?

Yeah. That.

We took those warm, buttery, cinnamon-sugar flavors and turned them into a snack mix you can grab by the handful. No waiting for the dough to rise. No frosting a dozen rolls. No pretending you’re “just having one.” 😉

Cinnamon Roll Snack Mix is cozy, crunchy, sweet, and made for snacking. Whether you’re adding a little something to your afternoon coffee, packing it for a road trip, or giving it as a gift (but grab 2 because you will want one for yourself!).

Basically… cinnamon rolls got a snackable makeover with a hint of cardamom to make it a little like a Scandinavian Cinnamon Bun.

I have been known to make some spur of the moment purchases on Facebook Marketplace, but this one has to be the biggest. I have talked a few times over the years about having a Nordic waffle booth at festivals, but never really took it anywhere, but then this summer, a posting popped up on a random day for a Viking Waffle on a Stick set up.

I went to look at it right away and then thought on it overnight with the help of many who had to hear my ponderings. And then I bought it! 😋

As a former FACS teacher, I love delving into new recipes and ideas in the baking world so after a lot of scrubbing (the waffle maker had been in storage for a long while), I set to work brainstorming.

We came up with a variety of fun options that will make their debut at Fjord Folk Fest in 10 days! 4 of the 6 waffle flavors will be available in gluten free.

I used the original design of the sign to come up with all the logos and branding and I love the vintage flair!

So in addition to our Koselig gift booth, which will be filled with all sorts of cozy Scandi-inspired goods, at the festival, you can stop at our Koselig Kitchen booth and be one of the first to try a Viking Waffle on a Stick!

Well, geez Louise… we actually got sunshine and only average North Dakota winds today. Feels like a full blown Saturday miracle ☀️🌬️😂

Sounds like the perfect excuse to wander downtown, soak up a little spring, and stop into Koselig at 106 for a sample of our Cheese Louise Snack Mix.

Crunchy, cheesy, ridiculously snackable… and honestly? Probably easier to trust than the weather forecast around here.

Meet your new “put it on everything” seasoning: Oh Geez, That’s Good Seasoning Salt. ✨

Yesterday, a customer stopped in to buy more and told me that her family uses it on everything and it’s their favorite seasoning 🤍

Savory, herby, a little cozy, and packed with flavor from salt, thyme, oregano, garlic, onion, curry powder, and more…this is the kind of seasoning that somehow makes simple food taste homemade and comforting.

A few favorite ways to use it:
• Sprinkle on roasted potatoes or veggies
• Season burgers, chicken, steak, or pork
• Toss with olive oil on air fryer fries
• Add to scrambled eggs or avocado toast
• Stir into soups, pasta salads, or casseroles
• Brush onto buttered corn on the cob

Easy recipe idea:

🥔 Oh Geez Crispy Ranch Potatoes
Ingredients:
• 1½ lbs baby potatoes, halved
• 2 Tbsp olive oil
• 1–2 tsp Oh Geez, That’s Good Seasoning Salt
• 2 Tbsp grated parmesan
• Optional: fresh parsley or ranch drizzle
Directions:
Toss potatoes with olive oil and seasoning salt.
Roast at 425° for 30–35 minutes until crispy and golden.
Sprinkle with parmesan right out of the oven.
Serve with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce….we have some great dip mixes that would taste amazing with these potatoes 😊

Our new licensed kitchen is ready to go and we love it!!! The handwashing sink is the sink from my great grandmother’s kitchen and brings a touch of nostalgia to everything we do. It’s all about the cozy!
