This week was the girls’ favorite day of school all year!

It’s the day when everyone gets to bring their pets to school for the annual Pet Blessing in honor of the Feast of St. Francis. 🙏🏻

There were A LOT of dogs and cats, but we also had a few horses and even a rabbit make an appearance! 🐶🐱🐴🐰 It’s pretty hard to beat a school day when you get to hang out with that many animals.

Needless to say, the girls absolutely LOVE this tradition. There’s just something pretty special about seeing the school parking lot filled with kids, families, and all their beloved pets. 🥰

A little faith, a lot of animals, and some very happy girls!

There’s plenty of work that comes with living on a farm, but don’t let that fool you…we still know how to have a little fun! 😂

Sometimes you just have to turn the tractor into the ultimate farm amusement ride. 🚜🎢

Craig gave the girls a ride in a box in the tractor bucket, going up and down the driveway. And judging by those smiles, I’d say they were pretty happy with their free ride! ❤️

Farm life is a lot of work, but it’s these little moments that make it pretty darn special. 🥰🌾

The LAST LOAD of Amherst mums is here!

We were able to get more of that beautiful golden-orange color that has been flying off the trailer, so if you’ve been waiting for one, now is the time! Once these mums are gone, that’s it for the season. 🌸🌼

🎉 Happy 17th Birthday, Nora! 🥳

Happy birthday to the kid who somehow manages to drive us crazy, make us laugh, and keep life interesting—all at the exact same time! 😂

Nora has always had a way of keeping us on our toes, but one of the things we love most about her is that she’s still young at heart. ❤️ Never lose that, Nora. Life is too short to grow up completely!

And Craig definitely cannot deny this child… because the resemblance in personality is just a little too obvious. 😂🙈

Nora we hope that 17 brings you plenty of adventures, laughter, and just the right amount of trouble! We love you, Nora!

🎃 The mastermind behind our premade pumpkin stacks hard at work! 🎃

These premade pumpkin stacks were actually Abby’s idea! I’ll admit, I wasn’t exactly sold on the idea at first because I didn’t want to cut perfectly good pumpkin stems just to make a stack.

But Abby had a vision… and apparently, she was onto something! So now she’s hard at work helping us make more of these ready-to-go pumpkin stacks for your porch.

Sometimes you just have to let the kids have an idea… and then admit when they were right. 😉😂

🌸 LET’S TALK MUM SIZE! 🌸

The mum Abby is holding comes in a 9” pot with an 18–20” bloom or larger… and it’s only $7! 😳🌸

We were talking about mum sizes with a customer recently when one of the little girls happened to be listening in.

We were explaining that the blooms on our mums are the same impressive size you’ll see on mums being sold in 10” or even 12” pots elsewhere—just without the bigger price tag.

She listened to the whole conversation and then came up with what I thought was a pretty insightful conclusion:

“So basically, the size of the pot doesn’t matter then?” 😂

Well… when you put it THAT way! 🤣

The pot size is only one part of the equation. What really catches your eye is the overall size and fullness of the mum—and our 9” mums are putting on quite the show!
