Last weekend, I stopped by the merkadokultura and was so inspired. Being in that creative space in honor of Filipino American History Month and speaking to a few vendors about their craft got me thinking about how much the community has grown since I started in 2018. And how much I’m looking forward to being a part of it again in the future 🥰

Other than custom orders, you can get our desserts, link in bio for both:
-10/23 Friday HOTPLATE! So exciting, our very first DROP! 🍰

-11/1 Sunday San Diego Museum of Art TACO PARTY (ticketed event) 🌮

Grateful to have had lots of orders the past two weeks and now I’m spent 😄 I sometimes am over optimistic about my time and get excited about baking and making things. I’m sure there’s a name for this. But I’ll call it “Ambitious Time Ignorant Creative Energy” 😝
But now it’s time to relax and recharge 🥰 Happy weekend everyone!

The years have gone by and here we are, celebrating our 8th anniversary 🥳 It's been a long time since we posted an anniversary post or baked blueberry muffins. I couldn't even find the original recipe but this one turned out great. Freshly picked blueberries by yours truly last weekend and my little helpers, I insisted on the biggest ones and they came through (thru?). I bet my kid is cringing right now 🤣
Available for a limited time. Call/text to order: 858-208-3540

I continue to not like rolling out dough, hence the heart shaped crust toppers 🤣Planning to hit Pi day hard tomorrow with this homemade vegan apple pie and not so vegan Tinola pie from Pop Pie x Chef Tara. Who else is celebrating Pi day 🥳🥧😍 Hit me up if you see me in line, I’ll give you an emotional support bookmark ❤️

2.28.2028 - Words can't express how exciting it was to be a cake sponsor at the 100th birthday party! Especially among all the other talented and well-known San Diego bakers. I was so inspired by the creativity in flavors and cake decor. I almost didn't do this, but my daughter said "Mom, when are you going to be a part of a 100 anything?" She had a point. It was a lot of baking and a lot of work, but it was SO WORTH IT. Thank you for this amazing opportunity and happy centennial 🥳
