In the West, rivers have long carried more than water.
They have witnessed generations of Indigenous peoples who lived alongside them, relied on them, and understood their importance long before maps were drawn or settlements were built.

They flowed through eras of exploration, westward expansion, and changing landscapes, remaining a constant presence as history unfolded along their banks.

These rivers hold stories. Stories of connection, resilience, stewardship, and the enduring relationship between people and place. They remind us that water is more than a resource. It is part of the history, culture, and identity of the land itself.

What flows through the West connects us all. Water Wednesday is where we stop and shine a light on it. That’s why we’re proud to support and their work to protect and preserve these wild waters.

NOT ALL CHOCOLATE IS CREATED EQUAL
So what’s actually in your chocolate? 🍫

Flip over enough chocolate bars and you’ll start to notice a pattern: long ingredient lists, sweeteners you can’t pronounce, and additives that have very little to do with chocolate itself. Beyond sugar and preservatives, unhealthy or poor-quality chocolate often replaces premium cacao butter with cheap, highly processed vegetable fats like palm oil, heavily dilutes the chocolate with extra dairy, and uses synthetic flavorings like vanillin to mask inferior beans.
