Hey sweet girl, can I just sit with you for a second?

I want you to know that the voice in your head, you know that one whispers “you’re not enough” or “look at all your mess” or “who do you even think you are?” That voice is a liar and I wanna show you what God actually says about you.

Psalm 139:14 says:
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Don’t worry, the words “fearfully made” do not mean you were made in fear.

It means that God made you with such intentionality that even He stepped back and marveled at what He created.

Sweet girl this is the same God that spoke galaxies into existence? And he took great care in making you.

Everything about you is special and unique. Your laugh! Your heart! The way you love your people around you! Nothing about you is an accident!

“Wonderfully made” means you are a set apart. You are one of a kind and that is 100% on purpose.

Listen carefully, he knew you before you were born, before you made any mistakes, before the hard days, He already chose you. And he already called you his.

Because you are a daughter of The Most High King.

You are not an after thought, sweet girl. YOU ARE HIS MASTERPIECE.

And I am praising God for you!

Bruno the pup update.
This big boy is on a full month of his medication đź’Š regimen.
We technically don’t have to go to the doctor for another six months for a check up unless we see complications.
Right now, we are watching him closely because he is choosing when to eat and not to eat. Unfortunately, the not eating is causing him to lose weight.
If this keeps up, we’ll have to take him in sooner, but we are hoping this is just a minor issue.
Cosmo has no problem eating his food and if we don’t watch it, he’ll start to eat Bruno’s too. These big boys are such a joy and we are still hopeful we can keep them together for years to come.

I’m at that point right now where I am drowning in teenagers and a toddler.

Knowing when to step up and step back with the teenagers is hard.

I’m trying to give them more independence in their walks, but still guide them.

I’ve already developed a pray journal for moms/women and God put it in my heart to make one for the girls too.

Something that reminds them that God isn’t out of reach and the love of a Savior is always there fighting for them.

So I created and am getting ready to launch my first teen prayer journal.

“Talking to God: A 21 Day Prayer Journal for the Teen Girl”.
