Tony's Tejas Salsa was created in 2005 to be a dressing for a chicken fajita salad. The remaining salsa from the salads became the favorite snack of my coworkers and I. The seed for making it into a international brand was planted by my friend after he took two bites of the salsa.
After working two decades in restaurants I wanted to create my own company and build a solid financial foundation for my family and friends. Tony's Tejas Salsa was incorporated on August 18 2011 and launched in June of 2014. The Tony's Tejas Salsa Profit Share Group has over 100 members and is still growing. My business model is forged in low over head and prioritizing humanity over the bottom line. Like the first homemade salsa I ever saw made in my mom's kitchen in the mid 80's Tony's Tejas Salsa roots are in my mom's kitchen. Now it is a fully licensed & trademarked product that is sold across the Gulf coast at farmer's markets, restaurants, & grocery and health food stores. I call it the world's best salsa because it is so versatile. It's America's #1 condiment, a healthy nutritional snack, and a delicious marinade. You can't do all that with the junk in the jar.
