We are getting almost a month out from Modesto Fall Festival and we are trying to fill out our vendor roster. We have so many exciting things to offer this time around. More music, more food, dirty sodas with the same small town, country vibe.

This past month has given ourselves and our farm so many gifts and opportunities. I have more to announce later, but today I want to talk about the blessing given to us yesterday. A teacher at Cedars Christian School reached out to us about having her 2nd grade classroom come out and visit our farm.

They had been reaching Charlotte's Web and were super excited to see the pigs. They got to feed them, climb up on tractors, take a hayride put to see the cows (Bear Cow was extra excited), and then take a dip in the creek. We loved watching the kids learn by playing on their own, asking unique questions as we went along, and absorbing nature.

We had a blast and it was a surreal moment to see how far we have come since 2018 when we first got the place. We have a website, an online store, an official Google 📌, Modesto Fall Festival , the Modesto Craft Fair, and now we do farm tours! You only miss the shots you don't take!!!

Excited to announce that we have an amazing lineup getting started for Modesto Fall Festival on October 24th. We will have 3 food/beverage vendors, and 2 incredible music acts so you can enjoy some great tunes while shopping.

The Kid's Zone is back again with more fun activities to keep the kiddos busy and entertained! We can't wait to get the party started here in 2 months!! 🎄🍁🍂🌲

We are heading out tomorrow for a great friend and a great cause. My friend Roy Delay lost his his wife to cancer. We are (Augie and I) are heading east to support a good friend and a good cause. We have missed in years past, due to work schedules and hay. This year we are locked and loaded with an Allis 6070 in tow.

So this past year I have really been trying to figure out direction. What is too much and what is not enough. Now that Augie is going back to school I am ready to pump all my energy into getting fit, being healthy, and building my small business.

The summer has been incredible (MOSTLY, 😆) But there needs to be a shift towards the business side of things at the farm. I have been making my seasoning for years now, and finally ready to take it to the next level with custom labels.

I am torn on the name, but have the mock ups below. I am leaning towards one, but always love the public opinion on these things.

It goes well on everything from steaks, lamb, eggs, and even in salad dressings. Luckily at Little Raccoon Creek Farm we sell our meat for you try it out on.
