Well we had some unexpected kids yesterday. When I went to the yearling doe pasture we had 2 missing. Upon further investigation I find the orange doe with another doeling obviously from the skunk head line as you can tell from the markings. The second doe came out and I noticed she was bagged up. We left to go back home for trailer and some extra hands. This pasture is very rocky with lots of dead falls. When we returned we found both does had kidded that day. All I can say is it amazes me how well these kikos mother there kids and just take care of business with minimal intervention. Although we have dogs working it is tough to keep an eye on them there the first few days. We will be returning them in a few days.
