It comes with a heavy heart that I come bearing horrible, bad bad BAD news... Went down near Lima a couple weeks ago to stare at the sun during the eclipse, popped into the Taco Bell on Alexis Road in Toledo on our way back to get a sack of CCB's for the ride home and a couple meals down the road.
Searched every which way I could fathom (had to ring myself up), could not find ANY thing chili related, let alone specifically a chili cheese burrito, ordered some random crap and called it a day.
When a walking/talking/breathing human FINALLY stepped out from in back for a second, I asked about CCB's, and the lil scalawag looked at me like I was speaking in tongues out of five heads at once.
I hypothesize that this stupid new cantina chicken menu MIGHT have helped nail the final nail in the chili-ish/cheesy-ish delight's coffin.
As of yet, have not been able to get over the Schroedinger's Cat situation of Nadeau Rd Exit 18 CCB's at the Pilot Travel Center Taco Bell and just drop the hammer on an in-store visit or quick phone call to know finally if or if not there are still chilitos o'er yonder down on Nadeau.
If anyone has some first hand knowlege, please feel free to share it here regarding CCB's in Monroe, and/or any other very recent sightings, especially if seen since the drop of the Cantina Chicken stuff...
