A little peak at our daily farm chores! Since we milk share with moms and also bottle raise to bond with our kids- our Does spend a lot more time in the stalls than normal which means they get dirty quick! Which means we have to clean stalls daily (sometimes we can just pick it and stretch for 2 days). Regular cleaning not only keeps our animals clean and healthy but it cuts down on flies!

🐐 A Little PSA from The Boujee Farmer! 🐐

When purchasing livestock, whether it’s a beloved family pet or a registered breeding animal, one of your FIRST questions should be about the animal’s health and the husbandry practices of the farm it comes from.

A beautiful pedigree doesn’t guarantee a healthy goat, and a cheap price tag doesn’t always mean you’re getting a bargain!

We invest in preventative veterinary care, proper nutrition, responsible herd management, clean living conditions, and raising friendly, well-socialized animals.

Yesterday, our wonderful veterinarians were on the farm conducting herd wellness examinations, administering vaccinations, and checking on our newest babies! ❤️

These are the things that matter to us. Responsible animal husbandry requires an investment of time, money, knowledge, and dedication, and we don’t believe in cutting corners.

If your only priority is finding the cheapest goat available, we’re probably not the farm for you. But if you value the care, commitment, and standards behind the animal you’re bringing home, we’re speaking the same language!

Remember, you’re not just buying a goat. You’re bringing an animal onto your property, potentially into your existing herd, and around your family.

Know where your animals come from. Ask questions. Prioritize HEALTH, not just price or pedigree.
