Spring is showing off today at The Boujee Farmer 🌸🐝

Watching the bees blanket our cherry blossom tree never gets old. Long before we became beekeepers and added hives to the farm, we already had a deep appreciation for these tiny powerhouses. Every tree, flower, and plant we’ve added to our homestead has been chosen with intention—to support the flora and fauna that make this place thrive.

The bees are the heartbeat of it all. Their return with the blooms means pollination, growth, and eventually the golden reward we all love… honey. 🍯

Bees truly are life-giving, and moments like this remind us why we do what we do. We plant with purpose, we steward the land, and the bees do the rest.

Nature working exactly the way it was designed. And we’re just lucky enough to witness it. 🌸🐝

Every few months we pop in a test batch of our shipping eggs to ensure fertility and make sure that the eggs we ship to our customers produce good results! I’m excited to share that 90 percent of our eggs in the incubator were viable and showed nice development! 🩷 For our local chickens friends- this means we here will be chicks available at the end of the month!!

📦 Shipping Egg Pricing Update 🐣

Good morning!

Due to some unforeseen shipping adventures recently, we’re making a few updates to our egg shipping process to ensure your eggs arrive safely and hatch into the beautiful chicks we’re proud to produce.

After four solid months without a single broken shipment, the shipping gremlins showed up and we unfortunately had three packages destroyed back-to-back in transit. While we pack our eggs carefully, the reality is once they leave the farm they go through quite the journey.

To protect your eggs (and your future chicks 🐥), we’ve upgraded our packaging and shipping process. Those improvements do come with some added cost, but we’re still committed to keeping our eggs affordable and accessible.

Updated Shipping Policy

• We will no longer ship ½ dozen or 1 dozen eggs
• Eggs will now ship in sets of 14

Pricing:
🥚 14 Hatching Eggs: $45
📦 Shipping: $25 (includes tracking)

Local Pickup

For our local folks, nothing changes! We will still offer ½ dozen and full dozen eggs for pickup.
