Just to give everyone a quick update that is tracking the terrible floods where we live.

Horses, cattle, dogs , cats, chickens and pigs are all accounted for!

Sadly our stock tank broke and we lost a lot of our fish.

Our prayers are with our neighboring farms who were hit hard by the floods and have major flood damage.
But mostly we pray they find their missing livestock!

Welcome to our first 9 bacon bits of 2026!

They were born May 24 and will be ready around beginning of July for their new home!

4 gilts 🐷
5 barrows 🐷

Ginger coloring with a few spots - gilt.
Both spotted - barrows.
Full black & black with brown stripes are 3 gilts and 3 barrows.
( the will most likely outgrow the brown stripes and we can't guarantee they will stay stripes)

They are Meishan/ Kune Kune.

We’ve decided to take a different route, and offering Sausage our Kune Kune for sale.

Sausage is about 1.5 years old, a boar who produces healthy, cute babies. He’s for sale as a breeder or just as a really good pet.

He gets along with pigs, dogs, cats, cows, horses, chickens — pretty much everyone. He’s great with kids and people in general. Loves scratches and sometimes even throws himself down for them. He’s happy to chill on his own too.

As per usual, while I was at work, another calf was born. No name on this little bull calf yet. He is up and quite spry as well. He will be tagged and banded this afternoon. Proud of my herd mamas and ease which they give birth. They are great moms!

P.S. it not usual when a teenager calls and says we have a situation.... fear flashed for sure. He was the situation 🤣

Had a new addition born yesterday during all the storms and rain of course. Welcome Tag #11. No name yet. Noelle is proving to be an excellent mother. #11 is up and moving and nursing well. Later today he will be banded and tagged.
