These babies were requested & I am so glad they were! When I say these cookies have some history- they DEFINITELY do!

Going back to Colonial times, when sugar was expensive & scarce, people opted for the more affordable option of molasses to bake their sweets! Thus these delicious cookies were invented - “Joe Froggers.”

Funny how times have changed & sugar is so cheap, but molasses (true molasses) is now more expensive.
