CT2V 2027 National Championship, MO State Championship Series Dates, and an April two-day clinic.

October 8: Pre-competition clinics

October 9-10: National Championship (Wrangler, Futurity, Green Horn, Youth, Buckaroo)

Two other dates:
March 12-14, 2027: Michigan Horse Expo-Brandy Von Holten was selected as a clinician for CT2V, USMA (Mounted Archery), and motivational speaking.
September 25-26, 2027: All-Around Cowgirl Team Challenge (not ready for sign-ups yet, but I wanted to tell you first before anyone else).

The link where we will fill out reservations for the CT2V events is in the comments. Once you fill that out, I am sent an email with the answers you selected, and the emails are time-stamped. That is the order in which I fill.

Your deposit will not be due until I am well from my surgery and we contact you. This is just to give me an order in which to contact people.

*If any of your friends don't use Facebook, you can find it on the CT2V website under Upcoming Events, in the State Championship section.

What a wonderful 8th Annual Country Tough Trail Versatility National Championship!

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the competitors, judges, volunteers, friends, family, and everyone back home who took care of everything!

This is our first year spreading out the national championship in order to accommodate everyone. The 2027 National Championship will follow the same format, but with the addition of three new divisions: Sidekick, Prospect, and Legends.

We will work throughout the fall and winter to announce and explain everything, helping CT2V expand to new hosts, new states, and expos.

CT2V is stronger than ever and has an even brighter future.

Walk through is at 8am

Check out youth competitors, Adalyn and Kyla! They were doing their best at the roping obstacle on the trail.

Our giant hola hoop was part of the Cowboy Roulette! Cowboy Roulette is an extra class where you have no idea what we are going to ask you to do. Winner takes half the 💰 from the entry fees for that class.

One of our trail obstacles for the 2026 CT2V National Champion was to rope a loose horse. This is a NEW obstacle for us to try!

Our two year old, Domino, in training was volun-told she was the “loose horse”.

Here is CT2V Youth competitor, Paisley Moore, and her horse, Shrimp.

Most of the adults will set their sites on improving their rope handling skills in 2027. Our clinic schedule will be posted soon.

If this 11 year old is kicking your butt in roping skills, be sure and sign up for a roping lesson.

The knowledge, understanding, and wisdom these two possess is astronomical.

Missouri’s Best Horse Trainer, Taressa Rankin Horsemanship: TR Horsemanship LLC and Hart Training with Lee Hart the current EXCA Pro World Champion.

Guess what they are discussing?
Pivot foot of a flat spin vs a rollback.

Today’s trail judges were:
Head Judge: Lee Hart
Supporting Judge: Taressa Rankin
Supporting Judge: Brandy Von Holten, Author/Speaker/Instructor

All three of us are about to have one major commonality: the comeback is personal

Lee was non-weight bearing for 6 weeks (two years ago) from a foot injury.
Taressa recovered from a horrific knee injury two years ago.
And I am scheduled for a heel surgery and will be non-weight bearing in November.

Life is messy, unfair, and difficult. But having positive mindset can change your outcome.

CT2V strives to find compassionate judges who are all here to help both equine and rider.

If CT2V is something you would like to host, judge, or compete in, check us out at www.ct2v.com
