Whether it's, "Mommy! Customer here!" Or "Mommy, you haul big poopies" I'm so glad my girls get to see business work first hand.

It doesn't look the same as when I grew up- we live several miles from the farm now so getting the kids to the barn is more of a planned event than a casual one, but they get to be part of the meat hustle and I'm so thankful for that.

This past week, our family was in from out of state and it made my heart sing to watch the girls and their cousins run around the farm, the yard, the woods, and the flower beds. It reminded me of when I grew up here.

These 2 Irish Twins are the best of friends with the privilege of being cousins. Can you tell they're related?? 🤍

You know that giddy excited feeling you get when you open the boxes at the butcher and everything is PERFECT??

Yea, me too ✋️

For me, this may be the closest thing to the feeling of a kid opening their Christmas gift. The butcher and I have been on the phone A LOT this week making sure we got these cuts right and I'm so excited to get these to your Christmas table!

A little bird tells me we will have cookies at the shop Monday for anyone picking up or shopping 🎅
