Nadia today. She’s not eating hay yet. Trying to sneak a snack but mom had already let her nurse and was interested in eating her breakfast. Soon Nadia will be in there with the others, munching on hay and grazing the pasture. Soon baby girl.

Out in the garden today. It’s coming along. The beans are about done but I harvested some. Enough for two people at a me...

Out in the garden today. It’s coming along. The beans are about done but I harvested some. Enough for two people at a meal. The tomatoes are coming along. And I’m see some broccoli heads and watermelon now.

I pulled a few carrots that were crowded out there. There’s a lot more coming.

Our garden keeps us supplied with carrots throughout the year by growing in the Spring and Fall gardens.

Came inside from the garden to find a hen up in the garlic I have been curing. Shooed her out but she wasn’t happy about leaving. I went ahead and removed all the garlic heads to bring inside and I gave her the trimmings in the little crate.

She did NOT like it on the floor and went back up to the spot where it had been. So now she has it where she wants it and I have my garlic.

Where is the craziest spot you’ve found a hen was laying?
