Arrowquip should have gotten me and Stud Muffin to do their cattle chute ad! We are a small farm and outgrew our “squeeze them between the fence and a gate” system a few years back but have not made the leap to purchase handling equipment. We have been battling pink eye for 2 weeks now. Our cows might be small and short, but they are strong and do not like to get shots. We made several trips back and forth to the vet to get everyone in for treatment. Our local vets were amazing btw, thank you to Jackman’s Animal Clinic for working us in your busy schedules. We bit the bullet and bought an Arrowquip chute. It was delivered yesterday. I came home from work today and Stud Muffin (the kids named her) had taken a turn for the worse. I took the 55 series chute off the trailer, made a few adjustments to get it out of transport mode, put it in between two gates and got the girl restrained so I could treat her. All in about an hour. This thing was very accommodating of her horns!
