Eggs shipments coming soon!!!!

After a nonstop hatch season, I’m finally taking a break from setting eggs every week.

I will have chicks available from our latest hatch this week — PM me if you’re wanting chicks.

I’m also growing out a select group from the previous hatch and will have a limited number of growouts available soon.

Moving forward, hatches between now and fall will be planned specifically for customers who are wanting chicks, so if you’re interested, reach out to get on my list.

I am now resuming shipping hatching eggs! I know a lot of you have been asking! Keep in mind the layer I to to season we go and depending on the age of the hen; thier egg color lightens as we go.

🚚 Shipping Debacle: A Tale of Two Shipments 🐓🐥

We’ve always prided ourselves on smooth, reliable deliveries, but recently, we faced a rare shipping snafu that turned into an unexpected adventure.

For the second time in six years, a shipment mix-up led to a rooster ending up with a customer expecting pullets, and the pullets going to someone expecting a rooster.

I want to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to Chad and Missy, our incredible customers. Despite the mix-up, they worked together seamlessly, holding each other’s chickens and providing electrolytes until we could get everything sorted out. With detailed shipping instructions from myself and extra effort from everyone, we ensured everyone received the right birds safely. 🌟

Of course, this meant some extra shipping costs, which we covered, but it was worth every bit for the peace of mind and happiness of our customers. It’s a reminder that, even when mistakes happen, we’re committed to making things right.

And despite the post office trying to quote longer delivery time to avoid insurance payouts and even yelled at one of my customers trying return ship saying, the rooster would NOT MAKE IT..we ship so much we know that these birds always arrive quickly. Through several phone conversations, we reassured them that these birds would make it to their destination, and, of course, they did! 🐥📦

Thank you to all of our customers for supporting our farm and allowing us to ship your live birds with guaranteed live arrival. This was a rare occurrence, and while I’m not perfect, I’m definitely committed to making things right, that is why i believe we have so many repeat customers 🫶 thank you all!!
