Our chicks are almost 1 week old! We are very impressed with how healthy they are and how fast they are growing!! They hatched at Meyers last Monday and we got them Tuesday, 52 chicks in total. We are using the same feed company, Ernst, our hens like and the chicks seem to be loving it too!!

We had the amazing opportunity, just last week, to have Troy McClung from Red Tool House Farm visit and help us assess our family's 40-acre property!

​We first met Troy at the 2024 Homesteading-ish Conference. This year we were finally ready to have someone come out and look at the property so that we could bounce ideas and borrow knowledge. Who better than someone only a few hours away and who has already successfully accomplished many of our goals?
