Dressler Ridge Rabbitry had an unforgettable first time at the TARBA show—and we’ll absolutely be back! 💙

We were thrilled to be part of only our second-ever Mid-Atlantic Silver Fox Specialty, with an incredible turnout of 72 Silver Fox entered! The community around this breed truly is something special—so supportive, fun, and passionate.

While I missed some of the specialty show action, I had the amazing opportunity to complete my second assist toward my Registrar license with the incredibly knowledgeable Judge Dana Bramble. I learned more than I can even begin to describe—working with breeds like Netherland Dwarf, Havana, New Zealand, Mini Satin, Silver Marten, Blanc de Hotot, Argente Brun, and Giant Chinchilla. (Next time we’ll get more pictures —Dad was slacking as photographer but was pretty busy getting buns on the table! 😆)

And of course… we couldn’t leave without coming home with a stowaway, we’re so excited to add into our lines—after all the shenanigans, meet Cucumber 🥒 from Heather Keister! You’ll have to find the cucumbers as you look through photos and truly understand how he earned his name. 😂

Seeing so many exhibitors, especially youth, made this show even more special—and a youth Silver Fox taking Best in Show. Absolutely incredible!

Grateful for this breed, the Mid-Atlantic Silver Fox Club, and the amazing friends who make weekends like this so memorable. 🖤🤎💙

What a packed and rewarding day for Dressler Ridge Rabbitry at the Central PA/Tri-County Show in Huntingdon, PA!

I had an amazing time completing my very first registrar shadow with Mike Ross as I begin my journey toward becoming licensed. It was incredible getting hands-on experience with so many breeds—Polish, Rex, Dwarf Hotot, Mini Rex, Himalayan, Giant Chinchilla, Mini Satin, and Californian—and learning what makes each one unique. Huge thank you to Mike, who has been such a great mentor since my youth days, for continuing to share so much knowledge along the way.

While I was busy learning, Mom and Dad held down the fort in the showroom—and we’re proud to share that Wanda brought home Best of Breed and Best Fur in Show A under Kaitlyn Conklin, earning her 12th leg!! 🏆

So grateful for the opportunity, the lessons, and the chance to catch up with so many great friends (even if it was a busy one!). Next stop: hoping to get another shadow in at the TARBA show in NY! 💙

What a great show day at the Juniata Valley Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Club show! It was a long (but rewarding) two days of setup, show day, and teardown—but so worth it for the amazing people and unforgettable moments. We had so many great laughs with the most amazing friends at this show.

We kicked things off strong at the Lop Specialty with French Lop Best Opposite of Variety for our solid 6/8 doe Lemon Meringue 🏆 under Judge Haley Maday. The awards were awesome, and celebrating alongside a great friend who makes this journey so special made it even better.

The Silver Foxes came to shine too—Show A brought us Best of Breed with our black senior doe Wanda, earning her 11th leg under Judge Stacey Martin and 1st place fur 🌟.

Wanda kept it going in Show B with Best Opposite of Breed under Judge Bill Bramble and another 1st place fur!

So grateful to share these wins with the best mentor I could ask for with her black 6/8 buck, Margaret Funck—your guidance has meant everything in shaping my fox program ❤️

It was definitely a busy day, but I love being part of a club that makes events like this happen. And to top it all off, my registrar papers came in—next stop: shadowing Judge Mike Ross at the Huntingdon show next weekend (pending approval)! Excited to keep learning and growing in this journey 🐇📚

**A huge shoutout to my mother, Teresa and Hannah for absolutely rocking the secretary table for checkin and awards!**

Exciting news came today! I passed my Rabbit Registrars test! Thank you to everyone that has encouraged me to take this next step in my rabbit journey and guided me with such great knowledge.

I am looking forward to completing my 3 judging assists and 1 registrar assist in the near future. 1 step closer to becoming licensed!

Dressler Ridge Rabbitry had an amazing (and very soggy!) day at the Delaware Valley Show in Collegeville, PA! 🌧️🐰 The cold and rain didn’t slow us down one bit—we had the best time doing what we love.

The highlight of the day was our very first Mid-Atlantic Silver Fox Specialty Show, and it exceeded every expectation! With 50 entries—making it the second-largest specialty—we were so proud of how our club came together with a great snack area, hangout space, and fun photo setup. A huge thank you to Judge Dana Bramble for officiating our inaugural show—her passion and knowledge for the breed made it truly special.

We’re thrilled to share our Specialty wins:

🥇 1st Black Senior Doe: Wanda

What a long but rewarding day at the Garden State show in NJ! First time back since before Covid and so worth it to spend the day with friends. 💙

Silver Fox Show A: 🏆 Wanda (Black Sr. Doe) – Best of Breed, and Clarabelle (Chocolate Sr. Doe) – Best Opposite of Variety under judge Vinny.

French Lop Show B: 🏆 Genie (Solid 6/8 Buck) – Best Opposite of Breed under judge Joey Martin (even if he’d had enough of posing by the time we got home 🤣).

We also had wins from afar in Meadville, PA with our Chocolate 6/8 Buck taking Best of Variety in both shows under judges Bill Bramble and Mike Ross!

Tired bunnies, messy hair, and lots of laughs—days like this are what it’s all about. Good luck to everyone showing tomorrow! 🍀

Next stop: Collegeville, PA for the very first Mid-Atlantic Silver Fox Rabbit Club Specialty Show—I couldn’t be more excited for this huge milestone! Thank you to everyone supporting the club… come join us! ✨
