What a great show day at the Juniata Valley Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Club show! It was a long (but rewarding) two days of setup, show day, and teardown—but so worth it for the amazing people and unforgettable moments. We had so many great laughs with the most amazing friends at this show.
We kicked things off strong at the Lop Specialty with French Lop Best Opposite of Variety for our solid 6/8 doe Lemon Meringue 🏆 under Judge Haley Maday. The awards were awesome, and celebrating alongside a great friend who makes this journey so special made it even better.
The Silver Foxes came to shine too—Show A brought us Best of Breed with our black senior doe Wanda, earning her 11th leg under Judge Stacey Martin and 1st place fur 🌟.
Wanda kept it going in Show B with Best Opposite of Breed under Judge Bill Bramble and another 1st place fur!
So grateful to share these wins with the best mentor I could ask for with her black 6/8 buck, Margaret Funck—your guidance has meant everything in shaping my fox program ❤️
It was definitely a busy day, but I love being part of a club that makes events like this happen. And to top it all off, my registrar papers came in—next stop: shadowing Judge Mike Ross at the Huntingdon show next weekend (pending approval)! Excited to keep learning and growing in this journey 🐇📚
**A huge shoutout to my mother, Teresa and Hannah for absolutely rocking the secretary table for checkin and awards!**
