A fantastic day at the South Jersey Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association show today in Mays Landing, NJ! It was our first time attending this show, and we had such a great time!

We were beyond happy with our Silver Fox results in Show B! Our black senior doe Wanda took Best of Breed, alongside Heather’s black senior buck receiving Best Opposite of Breed, under Judge Paul Kyle. We were also proud of our black senior buck Loki for earning 1st Place Fur! 🖤

The success continued with our French Lops in Show B, where our solid senior doe Lemon Meringue earned Best of Breed, alongside Kaitlyn’s solid senior buck as Best Opposite of Breed, under Judge Ruth Ann Bell!

And to top off the day, I even won the bidding battle for the Horror Movie Night basket at the silent auction! 🎃👻

It really was such a great day spent with friends, good rabbits, and plenty of laughs.

Huntingdon next weekend, where I’ll be completing my last judge assist with Don Sheets toward my Registrar’s license!

Definitely a long but incredibly rewarding weekend with the best people! 💜

Saturday started with a 3 AM wake-up call to head to the Westmoreland County Rabbit Breeders Show. I definitely didn’t love getting up that early, but it was worth it when I caught Lily at Sheetz just 30 minutes into my drive for some breakfast before we hauled up! 😂

It was such a fantastically run show, filled with great rabbits, lots of laughs, and so much joking around. One of the highlights was watching Harrison take Best Opposite of Breed with his awesome Silver Fox, Fisher! I couldn’t be prouder of him and his passion for this breed.

We were also thrilled to get some great comments on our chocolates! 🤎 The humidity hasn’t been their friend, but I can’t wait to see how they develop this fall.

And then Loki made his comeback! He hasn’t been out of the barn in quite a while, but as our only senior buck in coat, he got to make the trip—and ended up taking Best Opposite of Breed in the Silver Fox Specialty Show! 🏆

But honestly, the best part of weekends like this are the friends and memories made along the way. The friendships you make through rabbits truly are irreplaceable and always put the biggest smiles on your face. ❤️

Thank you all for another fantastic weekend and so many great memories!

And in case you were wondering… Harrison now knows where to get the best chicken sandwich he’s ever tasted. 😂🥪

What a year it has been! 🐇🏆

Now that sweepstakes season has officially come to a close, I’m beyond excited to share how we finished with both the National Silver Fox Rabbit Club and the Lop Rabbit Club of America!

This year, we put a huge focus on our Silver Fox program, and all the hard work paid off. We are proud to have finished #2 Overall, #2 in Blacks, #2 in Chocolates, and #2 in Fur. To go from #18 Overall last year to #2 this year is something I never imagined, and I am so grateful for everyone who helped make it possible.

I can’t thank my family enough, especially my parents, along with my Silver Fox friends and mentors who have supported, encouraged, and helped us every step of the way.

We also had an incredible year with our French Lops. We focused on improving our herd by addressing weaknesses, bringing in new stock, and making thoughtful breeding decisions. Those efforts helped us move from #20 last year to #8 this year in the LRCA sweepstakes standings!

I am truly humbled by these accomplishments and excited for what the new rabbit year will bring. Here's to continuing to learn, improve, and enjoy the journey. ❤️🐰
